Ashok Sharma, B Tech, MBA, FIMA, MIMC
He held the position of the World President, International Federation of Purchasing & Materials Management, Vienna - an international body of 40 countries accredited to the UN and its specialized agencies like UNCTAD, International Trade Centre, Geneva, & UN Economic & Social Council). This is the largest Federation, representing over 200,000 Purchasing Managers with purchasing budget amounting to several billion dollars.
Has over 35 years' experience in the corporate world, having worked as Vice President, Blue Star Limited., Director, Mather & Platt Ltd., Chief Operating Officer, TechNova Imaging Systems Limited, and President, Pidilite Industries Limited.
He has also been President of the prestigious Bombay Management Association & National President, Indian Institute of Materials Management. He is Fellow member of All India Management Association and has been a member of their Governing council.
Ashok Sharma holds the Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), New Delhi, and Master in Business Administration from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi. He has also attended advanced courses at the world-reputed Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA, International Chamber of Commerce, Paris & American Management Association.
He has co-authored a book on Supply Chain Management, published by Tata McGraw Hill.
FEE: Rs.10,500/- plus service tax @ 10% plus educational cess @ 3% = Rs. 11,582/- per participant, payable in advance by cheque/DD favouring ' Indian Academy of Management'.
